My favorite part...the monkeys!!! Love them! They live about 10 minutes from our home...they just hang out on the side of the road and up in the trees! Posted by Hello
A picture of Ikumi Beach, 5 minutes from our home! Very beautiful. This seems to be the local surf hangout most of the time. There is a hot dog shop right near by! BONUS for sure. Of course the hot dog is $3.00 and is like a long slim jim. But hey that works for me! Posted by Hello

SUICIDE

Suicide rate in Japan is HUGE and rising. The newest thing in Japan is group suicides. Many Japansese who do not excel or fit in with peers and in academics, feel it is better to take their own life. The movie "The Last Samarai" demonstrates this in some degree. Please pray thay God will open their ears and hearts to His message of hope! Many have heard the Gospel yet reject it. However, God is working and Japanese have begun to accept the Gospel and start to spread it among their own people. The major religions are Shintoism and Buddhism. Pray that Mark and I will have patience and increased love for these people God has called us to. We will be there in less than a month!

ALMOST TIME

Well, it is almost time for us to leave this place!! We will be on our plane in less than one month! We ask for prayer for our safety and for our families as we say our "good-byes". We ask that you would continue to pray that God would open the hearts of those we will share with and guide our footsteps to them. We will miss you all more than you or we can even imagine!! We love you all! Romans 15:13
