These are the Japanese Alps where Mark just went snowboarding. 

Mark and our friend Charlie went on a 3 day snowboarding trip to Nagano this week. The conditions were perfect and they had tons of fun.

Does he know that soon this afftection will be shared with a new baby? He has been a great cuddler for the sick days.... 

Who did it? Whose was the first bike that caused this domino effect of a crash? Yes, Japan is the bike riding capital of the world. Almost every store has a parking lot just for bikes. You see people on bikes from ALL ages. I swear we have seen some 300 year olds still riding along. HA 

This is our friend Andy from Bali and one of our Japanese language teacher. Andy is holding a bag of coffee from the coffee plantation his family owns in Indonesia. These beans have not been roasted yet so they have a greenish tint to them.

Many of you already know this, but Mark and I are expecting a baby. I took a test a little over a week ago and went to the doctor this past Thursday. I am only about 4 1/2 weeks along now, so it is very early. We are very excited about this little blessing from the Lord. We appreciate all of your emails and your prayers. We will keep you updated!!!
