This morning we walked out to about 70 or 80 little children walking down our street. It must be a field trip of some sort. Most had on these cute little hats. They are precious! Pray that the Lord would open the door for us to reach these small ones for Him. Posted by Hello

Broken Hearted

Well, many of you have received an email from us lately asking for you to pray as the enemy is at work here in Shishikui. Japan is a country of more darkness and lostness than you can imagine. Many only have a very minor understanding of who Jesus Christ is and they do not even wonder in their hearts about life after death for the most part. Many claim to be Buddhist just because their ancestors were but they themselves do not even know what is to be a Buddhist. Now, to add to the lostness, we have a Jehovah Witness family in our SMALL town preaching a "strange doctrine." It is so hard not to be frustrated and angry at how the enemy works. It breaks our hearts for these people and for the darkness that surrounds this place. We know that God has victory, but we also know that the enemy is very slick in his tactics. We love these people and as of right now if any one of the people we have met (that you see pictured below) were to pass away, they would spend an eternity in hell. It is hard to take that in and not break down. Please continue to pray. Pray for our attitudes as we deal with the attacks of the enemy. Pray for our lives to reflect that of Christ. Pray Pray Pray "But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers." 1 Peter 4:7-8

Here is a picture of our friends in our apartment. We have met and been spending time with two new boys named Nagisa and Akito. Akito is 11 and Nagisa is 16. They are awesome surfers and very nice guys.  Posted by Hello
How to know when you have many Japanese friends over at one time. This is a picture of our front entrance way...we had 9 people over to our 400 square foot apartment last night. As is Japanese custom everyone removes their shoes when they enter your home. We had tacos and Japanese food. It was great fun. God has blessed us with amazing friendships here in Shishikui. We have taken tons of video for you all to view later. Posted by Hello

God ALONE...

"Rest in God ALONE, my soul, for my hope (and expectation) comes from Him. He ALONE is my rock and my salvation, I will NOT be shaken. My salvation and glory depend on God; my strong rock, my refuge, is in God. Psalm 62:5-7
