HOPE

"The Lord your God is with you; the mighty One WILL save you. He will rejoice over you. You WILL rest in His love; He will sing and be joyful about you." Zephaniah 3:17 This verse came to me today at a very helpful time. I hope it is a comfort to you as well. God Bless...Jennifer

FINALLY

Well...FINALLY we have internet at our new home. We have gone without for over a month and been using our friend's home to check email. Sorry that all the blog has been is pictures for a while. We love the new place and God is doing so much here. We are making many new friends and have tons more to do in the city. Please pray that Mark will be able to find more surfers and that God will continue to do His work in those we left in Shishikui. It is very COLD here now, which is nice for the Christmas season. Japanese are beginning to celebrate Christmas much more each year. Today we attended a Christmas party and they sang "Silent Night" and "Joy to the World" in Japanese. We pray that they will truly understand the reason for the season and accept the great JOY that Christ brought to the world 2005 years ago. Thank for your prayers and we wish you all a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS! We would love ot hear from you so email us at marknfer@hotmail.com. God Bless...

Right now there are many of these red and yellow trees all around lining the streets. It looks so nice with Hunter's red collar. Posted by Picasa
This is our "mansion" where we live. Our apartment is on the far right, 3 floors down from where you see the pink blankets hanging on the balcony. Posted by Picasa

We found MORE MONKEYS! You can see we were able to get very close to these. These are the Japanese Macaques or "snow monkeys". They live on Mino Mountain about 30 minutes from our home. Posted by Picasa
This is a view overlooking our city and other cities close by. We took this picture from Mino mountain on the way to see the monkeys. Posted by Picasa

I met this lady this week at a Christmas tea. She is HILARIOUS! She told me she is taking country line dancing near my home. She then got up and did several dances for me asking me if I knew them. I am planning to take the class with her beginning in January. Please pray for her that she will seek the Lord. Her name is Kukiko. Posted by Picasa
