This is where we had dinner last night....This is Yasu and his wife Fumiko, our good friends here. This is the typical meal set up in Japan. We all sit on the floor with our legs under this table which is a heater. It is called a katatsu table. Here we are eating sushi....we do eat with chopsticks so be proud! This table is in their "den" and is also where they sleep at night on futons. We really enjoy the culture and this food was AWESOME!!! The sushi rolls were made of seaweed, rice, cucumbers, tuna, egg and ham. Mark did eat some he made with raw Mackeral.
