Broken Hearted
Well, many of you have received an email from us lately asking for you to pray as the enemy is at work here in Shishikui. Japan is a country of more darkness and lostness than you can imagine. Many only have a very minor understanding of who Jesus Christ is and they do not even wonder in their hearts about life after death for the most part. Many claim to be Buddhist just because their ancestors were but they themselves do not even know what is to be a Buddhist.
Now, to add to the lostness, we have a Jehovah Witness family in our SMALL town preaching a "strange doctrine." It is so hard not to be frustrated and angry at how the enemy works. It breaks our hearts for these people and for the darkness that surrounds this place. We know that God has victory, but we also know that the enemy is very slick in his tactics. We love these people and as of right now if any one of the people we have met (that you see pictured below) were to pass away, they would spend an eternity in hell. It is hard to take that in and not break down. Please continue to pray. Pray for our attitudes as we deal with the attacks of the enemy. Pray for our lives to reflect that of Christ. Pray Pray Pray
"But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers." 1 Peter 4:7-8

Hey guys. I feel your pain. I have been witnessing to my neighbors for 20 years and still no sign of a new birth. My peace comes in understanding that all who have been called, whose names have been written in the book of life of the Lamb before the foundation of the world, will come and He will not lose even one. I do not know why some are called and others are not but the desire of my heart is that His will be done. With all that said, my heart does hurt for those who are blinded to the grace, mercy, and love of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. My final thought is usually, "why me, and not them?" Happy birthday Jennifer.
Grace and peace to both of you.
